What you’ll be doing

This role will primarily provide a range of high-level cross divisional executive support services to the Director, Screening and Prevention (S and P) and Director, Operations Strategy and Performance (OSP)Additionally, the role will work collaboratively with the divisions to provide project support on a variety of activities that support divisional operations and contributes to the overall achievement of the directorate's programs of work.

In addition to base salary:

  • 12% superannuation
  • 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)
  • 10 days sick leave
  • 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.

Essential requirements

  • Experience in a similar role providing high level executive and administration support to a Director level position in a complex environment.
  • Highly developed time management, co-ordination and organisational skills including managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate and relay relevant information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the provision of excellent and responsive customer service.

If successful for interview candidates must bring original copies of essential qualifications to be sighted by the panel, and one copy to provide to panel.


Pre-screening questions

  • Outline your approach to managing the needs of two senior executives concurrently. How would you manage competing demands on your time?
  • Describe a time when you had to solve a problem quickly. What was the outcome?
