Based in Taree NSW, Manning Valley Anglican College is one of four schools forming part of Newcastle Anglican.
About the role:
Commencing term 1, 2026 the Head of Learning Enrichment (P-12) plays a key leadership role within the Teaching and Learning Team, driving a culture of excellence, inclusion, and wellbeing across the school. This role provides strategic and visible leadership to build high-performing teams, foster collaboration, and champion positive education frameworks. With a strong focus on both people and processes, the Head of Department shapes and enhances teaching practices, wellbeing initiatives, and operational systems to ensure the best outcomes for students, staff, and families.
Reporting directly to the Director of Teaching and Learning, this position leads Learning Support Teachers and Classroom Support Assistants to deliver innovative, inclusive, and student-focused support from Prep to Year 12.

Proven experience in a Leadership role.
Demonstrated experience leading inclusive education initiatives across a P–12 setting, with a focus on strategic alignment and whole-school impact.
Proven ability to ensure compliance with the NCCD, Disability Standards for Education, and other relevant frameworks while overseeing targeted support and extension programs.Capacity to mentor and support teaching staff in implementing inclusive and differentiated practices, and to lead professional learning initiatives.
Experience in identifying student and collaborating with families, allied health professionals, and external agencies.
Introducing and embedding innovative practices that enhance learning outcomes and support inclusive education.
High proficiency in using digital tools to support teaching, learning, and administrative functions within an educational context

Relevant teaching qualifications and accreditations in NSW
- Post graduate qualifications in either Special Education, Inclusive Education or Educational Leadership
