We are seeking an experienced and proactive Learning and Development Advisor to join our team on a full time basis. Reporting to the L&D Manager, you will be a highly organised individual who will thrive working under pressure and delivering to deadlines, whilst maintaining a high standard of service and attention to detail.
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify training needs, develop fit for purpose solutions and implement L&D interventions to support the overall strategy of the Group.
- Working with and influencing key stakeholders through collaboration to understand their requirements, design and deliver outcomes.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships across all levels, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ongoing management and maintenance of skills matrices, gap analysis, training programs, content and materials.
- Provide reporting, insights and data driven assessment to measure the impact of L&D activities on capability growth.
- Assist in the implementation and delivery of the annual performance development review process and succession planning initiatives.
- Provide adhoc coaching and facilitating where required to supervisory and managerial positions.
To be considered for this position you must possess the following:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Learning and Development or Human Resources.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
- Previous experience working on L&D or Organisational Development projects or initiatives
- Solid track record in working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focused.
- A sound understanding of training options and solutions in the marketplace.
- Proven understanding of adult learning principles.
- Working knowledge of psychometrics and techniques for assessment/development.
- Previous experience working within the Civil and Mining Industry is desirable.
