Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $149,739 to $173,174 + super
About the role
As the Manager of Technical and Policy, you will lead a dynamic team focused on implementing a portfolio of policy initiatives and reforms driven by data on disaster risk and economic, social and environmental perspectives.
Your primary responsibilities will include implementation of the NSW State Disaster Mitigation Plan and supporting agency objectives and government commitments

Someone who can develop, implement, monitor, evaluate and review the NSW State Disaster Mitigation Plan and associated frameworks, policies and tools, particularly those addressing mitigation infrastructure and infrastructure resilience.
Provide expert advice and information to inform critical infrastructure resilience planning.
Develop and implement strategies to monitor and evaluate policy initiatives to identify risks and issues and ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
Lead and facilitate stakeholder engagement, consultation and negotiation on policy issues to identify and develop solutions and make recommendations that account for relevant factors and support sound policy decisions and approaches.
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
