SensesWA is a leading not-for-profit organisation with over 130 years’ history in providing disability services in Western Australia. Our purpose is to build capacity by providing comprehensive services, specialising in sensory loss, positive behaviour support and allied health therapy services across all ages.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Communications Manager to lead our marketing and brand efforts. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing marketing and communication strategies that elevate the SensesWA brand, drive stakeholder engagement, and support our vision as a leader in disability and sensory services.
Working at the heart of a purpose-driven organisation with a proud history and a bold vision for the future, you will play a key role in shaping internal and external communications, managing digital content, producing engaging campaigns, and ensuring all outputs are accessible and aligned with our values.
To ensure your success in the role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, branding, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with design and digital tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign, WordPress, and social media platforms.
- Strong content creation skills – from visual storytelling to writing for diverse audiences.
- Experience working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- A creative mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Experience in the not-for-profit or disability sector is highly desirable.
- You will be required to have NDIS Workers Screening Check, Current WA Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel to SensesWA locations as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead brand, marketing, and communication strategies across the organisation.
- Develop campaigns that position SensesWA as a sector leader in disability and sensory services.
- Support fundraising and community engagement initiatives through promotional campaigns.
- Support advocacy and awareness initiatives alongside the CEO and senior leaders.
- Create, manage and execute content creation for digital and print platforms including the website, newsletters, eDMs, social media, Board Reports and the Annual Report.
- Develop marketing strategies and materials to support business units across the organisation.
- Manage social media presence and monitor audience engagement.
- Monitor, evaluate, and present management report on marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Capture and edit multimedia content (photos, videos) for marketing use.
- Maintain brand consistency across all materials and stakeholder touchpoints.
- Support fundraising and community engagement initiatives through promotional campaigns.
