The Opportunity

Join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team and play a key role in delivering impactful, high-quality marketing activities that align with UniSC’s strategic priorities. In this fast-paced and varied role, you’ll provide high-level generalist support across a wide range of projects, from content creation and digital communications to event coordination and campaign delivery. A proactive team player and exceptional communicator, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the University to bring ideas to life.

You will

  • Deliver high-quality support across a range of marketing and communications initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, brand standards, and audience expectations;
  • Contribute to the planning, coordination, and implementation of key projects including events, content creation, campaigns, and digital content, ensuring timely and effective delivery; and
  • Monitor and respond to inbound marketing and communications requests from internal and external partners.

About you

You're an experienced marketing and communications professional who excels at transforming strategy into measurable impact. With a proven ability to craft, implement and evaluate integrated marketing and/or communications plans, you help clients achieve their goals while building strong, collaborative relationships across a wide range of stakeholder groups. Your strength lies in being able to juggle multiple multi-channel projects simultaneously.

You will possess:

  • Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience or possession of an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education/training;
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and evaluating integrated marketing and communications plans that help clients reach their goals;
  • Excellent client management skills including a demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships across a range of stakeholder groups within the university and the wider community;
  • Experience in the development of marketing materials and assets for a range of contemporary communication channels and audiences;
  • A strong track record of recognising and connecting new and existing initiatives to deliver positive communication outcomes; and
  • A track record of trouble-shooting, working collaboratively beyond the immediate team, thinking laterally in situations where precedents may not be apparent, and taking responsibility to deliver positive outcomes for internal and external partners.
