In this role, you will assist in delivering our people and culture strategy, implementing People and Culture initiatives that align with our organisation's goals and values. You will support employee engagement, development, and well-being, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices. Additionally, you will coach and partner with managers, collaborate with other leaders, and build strong relationships across the business to provide solution-oriented outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the People and Culture Business Partner to achieve outcomes aligned with the overall strategy of CDC NSW.
- Provide managers and leaders with guidance and coaching support to better manage employee queries and grievances.
- Assist managers with performance management discussions.
- Partner closely with managers to execute the people strategy and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Facilitate conversations around talent management, succession planning, and team engagement.
- Contribute to strategic projects across CDC NSW.
- Facilitate projects related to organisational change and transformation.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to managers.
- Assist with remuneration matters.
- Conduct periodic reviews and develop new policies and guidelines to ensure all statutory obligations are met.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including onboarding.
Experience:
- Previous experience and knowledge of HR management processes
- Ability to quickly interpret Awards and Agreements.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Negotiating and influencing skills.
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
