The Opportunity:
The key purpose of the People & Culture Manager at our site in Auburn is to partner with the senior management team on site to drive people activities across the site to enhance performance. The role will activate the global People initiatives across the group and will integrate seamlessly with day-to-day operations at the Auburn site to provide practical and knowledge-based advice.
- Partner with leaders along with other key stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
- Design P&C plans to support production.
- Coach site leadership members on leadership capability to drive development and retention.
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling queries, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related issues
- Provide data-driven people insights to the Operations leadership team and P&C function that underpin the business and people strategy
- Provide operational HR advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, recruitment strategies, performance and managing change processes
- Drive talent acquisition & development for all roles on site, being both management and production staff. This includes the development of key staff and succession planning.
- Manage and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigation
- Design and deliver specific people and employee relations programs
- Lead, or contribute to, key organisational development, People & Culture and change projects
- Review processes and systems with a view to continuously improve the efficiency of HR processes
- Actively promote cultural change and support new ways of working and continuous improvement within HR to provide a high quality, professional, consistent, and cohesive HR service
- Support Employee Health & Wellbeing initiatives
- Drive site-based engagement action plans, including communication, reward and recognition and continuous improvement
