About the role
This position coordinates monitors and evaluates the provision of financial services ensuring an efficient and effective client focused Revenue Service to staff and patients who utilise services at Patient Accounts, Revenue Office and The Trust Office located at The Park - Centre for Mental Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
A sound understanding of or ability to quickly acquire a sound understanding of accounting policies, procedures and practices. A demonstrated high level of skill and ability in applying this knowledge, including the ability to interpret legislative and policy requirements perform reconciliations and maintain appropriate internal controls.
Demonstrated sound computer skills for Microsoft and database applications including financial and patient information systems applicable to IEMR, HBCIS, S4HANA, MediRecords, with the ability to apply these skills in the extraction and preparation of data for reporting.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and consult with clients, staff and external organisations, including effectively deal with demanding situations.
Demonstrated ability to supervise a team, set realistic goals and establish priorities to meet deadlines in a changing environment.
Participation in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of up to date billing procedures and procedure manuals, including supporting reference and training resources.
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary human resource management practices including workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination and code of conduct.
