About the role
This newly created, senior leadership role is your opportunity to shape the future of sales at Pace Farm. Overseeing a national team and reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you’ll lead our commercial strategy across all major egg and liquid product categories. From managing key customer relationships with major retailers and distributors to identifying new business opportunities and refining our channel focus, this role is both hands-on and highly strategic. You'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue, mentoring a high-performing team, and helping us navigate our next phase of growth, all from our Norwest office, just a short walk from the metro.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve volume, revenue and profitability across all egg and liquid categories
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Lead contract negotiations and pricing strategies to maximise margin and maintain competitiveness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including major retailers, distributors, food manufacturers and other non-retail customers
- Ensure the team are managing customers in accordance with our sales strategy and be the escalation point for complaints
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and potential developing markets
- Collaborate with marketing to develop tailored solutions, promotions and value proposition
- Lead and mentor account/sales managers and BDM’s, setting KPI’s and managing performance
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through coaching, mentoring, accountability and clear expectations
- Work with the quality team on regulatory compliance matters

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in FMCG, ideally in food, agribusiness, or commodities
- Tertiary qualification in commerce or related disciplines desirable
- Food industry experience strongly desired
- Proven track record in key account management and business development
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and grow high-performing teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Strong sales processes and disciplines
- Ability to influence stakeholders
