The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup is looking to hire a Works Administration Coordinator, to provide administrative support to the Shire Works Department.
"This is a permanent, flexible position, working 4 -5 part or full days per week"
Your Responsibilities
Your typical day will include, but not be limited to the following:
Providing day-to-day administration support of the Shire Works & Services department.
Obtaining, entering, and maintaining accurate records, including works requests, cemeteries, timesheets, various registers, operational reports, and manual/electronic filing systems. Ensure all Works & Services related forms, folders, and other documents are kept up to date.
Assist with procurement activities and receipt of goods and services for the Works and Services department. This includes obtaining quotes, creating purchase orders for approval, expediting priority goods and services, and maintaining depot stock levels, including amenity stocks and cleaning consumables used throughout Shire.
Provide administrative support for human resource and health and safety operations of the Works and Services department.
Review, create, update, spreadsheets and reports, applicable to the Works and Services department.
Organise and attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute them. This includes formal and informal meetings such as monthly toolbox and coordinating meetings.
About You
High level of computer literacy skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills, with an ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Demonstrated commitment for delivering exceptional service to internal staff and external customers
Demonstrated ability to use initiative
