Children, Youth and Families (Ashmore & Daisy Hill)

Why You’ll Love This Role
Join our supportive and dedicated Children, Youth and Families team, providing vital administrative support that helps deliver services to vulnerable children, young people, and families in our community. Based at our Ashmore office and at times you may be required to travel to our Daisy Hill Site, you’ll work closely with service managers and frontline teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent client service.
What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support including correspondence, data entry, and report preparation
- Manage travel arrangements, rosters, client billing and financial documentation
- Maintain and secure office files and records
- Support scheduling, staff timesheets, and reporting processes within relevant systems
- Provide information and assistance to clients and stakeholders with a high level of professionalism
- Work collaboratively to support culturally inclusive practices, particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, families and communities
- Contribute to a safe, supportive and efficient working environment aligned with our values and Sanctuary Model of Care
About You
- Certificate III in Business (or equivalent)
- Minimum two years’ experience in administration, secretarial or clerical roles
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Well-developed organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to obtain (or hold) a National Police Check, Working with Children Blue Card, and LCS Check (where required)
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Churches of Christ
Employee Benefits
As a not-for-profit entity, our employees can package up to $18,549 p.a. of their taxable income before your income tax is calculated. Up to $15,900 p.a. on everyday expenses (such as mortgage payments, rent, groceries, bills and insurance) plus up to $2,649 p.a. on meal/entertainment benefits.
The salary range for this position is currently $28.96 to $30.94 per hour, based on experience.
