Join the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network as an Administration Officer in Tumby Bay. In this pivotal role, you’ll deliver essential administrative support, ensuring the efficient operation of clinical services and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Overview

As an Administration Officer, you will provide general administrative and clerical services to support the management of clients within the designated clinical service areas. You’ll work closely with senior nursing staff, medical practitioners, and patients to facilitate communication, streamline processes, and deliver exceptional service to all involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for clinical service areas
  • Coordinate communication within the ward/unit and with other services
  • Assist in managing client information and documentation
  • Deliver customer-focused services to staff, medical professionals, and clients
  • Support senior nursing staff in daily administrative tasks

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to provide customer-focused service in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of computer based resources and experience in office procedures and office equipment (ie: photocopier, printers, facsimile, etc)
