We’re Hiring: Part-Time AOD Practitioners – Rockingham, WA

About the role
You’ll provide counselling and case management to people impacted by addiction, helping them rebuild their lives and take their next steps forward.
We’re hiring several part-time AOD Practitioners based in Rockingham. Weekly hours are negotiable and will be confirmed in consultation with successful candidates.
How you’ll make a difference
- Create a safe, non-judgmental space where participants feel heard and supported.
- Conduct comprehensive intake and risk assessments using evidence-based tools.
- Provide one-on-one support through crisis intervention and case management.
- Help clients set and achieve personal recovery goals through practical and therapeutic support.
- Collaborate with housing, justice, mental health and other services to ensure holistic care.
- Support clients as they transition out of services with dignity and purpose.
What you will bring
- Relevant degree with relevant experience; or associate diploma with substantial experience; or qualifications in more than one discipline; or less formal qualifications with specialised skills sufficient to perform at this level.
- Degree qualification in social work, social science, psychology, counselling or related field (Desirable.)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in complex case management and outreach support services.
- Experience in the AOD sector is an advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience to support junior staff.
- Experience with client advocacy and working in partnership with others.
- An understanding of minimising risk in the workplace and adherence to WHS requirements
