The Role
The APS 5 Workforce and Administration Officer supports the critical functions of business and workforce coordination through the provision of a high level of support and customer service to the Aviation Support Systems Program Office (AvSSPO).
The role includes providing workforce co-ordination and reporting, information management; business process mapping and reviews, administrative support associated with AvSSPO financial transactions; task management; facilities management support and meeting co-ordination.
The APS 5 Workforce and Administration Officer is accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve moderately complex procedural, operational, workforce and business support work within an integrated environment.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:
- An ability to work independently, professionally handle sensitive data and information with experience in the use of HR systems.
- Facilitate and plan resourcing/recruitment (APS staff, ADF reserves) activities to meet specific strategic goals.
- Manage the HR audit and reporting program including the monthly performance report to analyze and distributing results.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to enable workforce solutions.
- Effective written and communication skills, including relationship building, resilience and adaptability and tailoring your approach when targeting audiences and meeting deadlines.
- Resolve problems using critical thinking and sound judgment, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
