About the Opportunity
Are you a motivated individual with strong administrative experience and the ability to perform effectively in a confidential and fast paced environment?
We are looking for a professional individual with a proactive mindset to join Council in the role of Business Support Officer to the Chief Executive Officer.
In this role, no two days will be the same! As the Business Support Officer to the CEO, you will provide high level business support to the Chief Executive Officer and work closely with the Mayor and Councillors. This role will also work collaboratively across the CEO department and Business Support Officers elsewhere in Council to support the development of strategic projects / priorities and initiatives.

What you need to Succeed
- Experience in a business support role.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and attention to detail.
- Professional approach with the ability to demonstrate political acumen and diplomacy, act discretely and uphold confidentiality standards.
- Ability to organise events and functions.
- Investigative and analytical skills, including researching projects.
