Hours: Full-Time (1FTE)
Contract: 12 months
Location: Base location headspace Edinburgh North with the requirement to travel to all Sonder sites as required and on a regular basis.
About the Role:
As Sonder’s Facilities Officer, you’ll help keep our workplaces safe, functional, and welcoming while coordinating new site projects from planning to handover. You’ll manage contractors, budgets, and timelines to ensure every site meets our high standards of safety and presentation. If you’re hands-on, organised, and great at coordinating people and projects, this role is for you. Experience in facilities or project support is ideal, but if you’ve worked in a similar coordination role, we’ll provide training to help you succeed.
Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in meeting preparation including minutes and agendas
- Experience in working with key stakeholders to achieve a shared goal
- Customer service mindset and responsive to requests and concerns.
- Knowledge in providing support to site needs in relation to maintenance, site establishment, and site development.
- Preventive and reactive maintenance planning.
- Asset management and inventory control, including procurement for new sites.
- Understanding of WHS regulations and practices, especially relating to establishing safe and compliant workplaces prior to occupation.
- Procurement and invoicing, managing quotes, orders, and processing payments.
- Knowledge of building systems such as heating and cooling, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
- Knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft suite of software and databases.
Qualification and Other Requirements:
- Drivers Licence
- Certificate-level qualification in Business or a related field.
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Current or willing to obtain National Police Clearance (NPC)
