Where you'll be working
You’ll be based across various health facilities within the Western Sydney Local Health District, including hospitals, clinics, and administrative buildings. This role offers variety and the chance to work in dynamic environments where every day brings new challenges, all with a shared goal of supporting high-quality healthcare services. You’ll also assist multiple sites, responding to urgent maintenance needs when required.
What you'll be doing
Support vital hospital maintenance by assisting trade teams with repairs and upkeep. Ensure safe, compliant operations with minimal disruption. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with maintenance tasks and general repairs
- Using power tools and painting skills
- Prioritising and responding to requests promptly
- Maintaining tidy workspaces and equipment
- Participating in after-hours emergency work

Demonstrated experience working with power tools and machinery- Demonstrated experience with following safe work procedures such as working at heights.
- Proven ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team based environment and familiarity with standard trade terminology
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and undertake work in a busy environment with limited supervision.
- Ability to clearly communicate in both written and verbal form
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from trades staff and management.
