About the opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Officer to support the delivery of strategic initiatives across the university. This role involves coordinating project activities, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
p rovide administrative support to one or more projects by documenting and updating tasks and assisting with the production and control of project materials and reports
m aintain and manage project data
i dentify and implement administrative improvements to automate processes and proactively report project issues to management
d evelop and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, including maintaining service level agreements as determined by the project or program
i mplement effective and transparent communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed
Supports scheduling of information sessions or meetings and provides information to a variety of stakeholders
u ndertake other duties appropriate within the classification level as required .
About you
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service
Strong problem-solving abilities, using initiative and sound judgement
Proven ability to prioritise workload effectively during busy periods
Well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building, and influencing skills
