Develop, manage and implement projects and programs that support the effective delivery of services relevant to the business unit, including establishing a reportable conduct unit in the Office of the Chief Practitioner.
Provide high level program management advice and direction in relation to compliance with the child safe standards and implementation of an effective system to respond to reportable conduct.
Identify information from a wide range of sources and provide strategic analysis and advice on complex operation program, policy and legislative issues relating to the programs and initiatives delivered by the business unit.
Coordinate day-to-day operations to deliver on project outcomes that support the department's capacity to deliver and maintain quality services.
Provide high level liaison, consultation and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders towards the development and implementation of whole-of-government policy and program initiatives relating to the programs and initiatives delivered by the business unit.
Ensure that service delivery arrangements support the department's program and strategic intent.
Provide high level analysis, advice and recommendations of innovative approaches to new trends and issues that impact on service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families.
