The Role
We are seeking a passionate Senior Quality Advisor to lead our Quality team and drive continuous improvement across our organisation.
As the Senior Quality Advisor, you will lead the Quality function at Expression Australia, overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure alignment with NDIS and ISO 9001 standards. This role supports the transition to modern quality practices while fostering a culture of compliance, excellence, and continuous improvement. You will manage and mentor the Quality Coordinator and report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and maintain the organisation's QMS in line with ISO 9001 and NDIS Practice standards
• Oversee internal audits, external accreditation, policy reviews and document control
• Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality systems, compliance frameworks and best practice
• Monitor complaints, incidents, client surveys, and continuous improvement registers
• Prepare and present clear, data-driven reports to senior stakeholders
• Mentor and develop the Quality Coordinator
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet strategic goals and regulatory compliance
About You
You are an experienced quality professional who thrives on purpose-driven work and building capability across teams. You bring strong systems knowledge, a solutions mindset, and a natural ability to mentor others. You’re driven to deliver results while upholding safety, compliance, and client service excellence.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
• Tertiary qualifications in Quality, Compliance, Risk or a related field
• Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a senior quality/compliance role
• Expertise in QMS principles and ISO 9001
• Experience in internal/external audits, compliance reporting and policy reviews
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Orientation Module
• Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
Desirable:
• Not-for-profit or disability services sector experience
• Experience with QMS platforms
• Auslan 101–103 & Deaf Awareness Training (or willingness to complete)
