What You Will Be Doing
In this national leadership role, you will:
- Lead workforce planning by forecasting demand, analysing trends, and building data-driven resourcing plans (short and long-term).
- Oversee national rostering, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective rosters (reduce gaps of overstaffing) that align with operational needs, compliance requirements, and staff wellbeing.
- Develop and maintain productivity benchmarks across the national network, ensuring staffing levels are fair, efficient, and aligned with operational and strategic goals.
- Lead productivity improvement and workforce optimisation projects, identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies while engaging stakeholders across the business.
- Partner with stakeholders across Operations, HR, Payroll, and Finance to deliver integrated workforce solutions.
- Ensure compliance and mitigate risk, aligning rosters with EBAs, Awards, Fair Work, and fatigue management policies.
- Provide leadership and direction to overcome intricate rostering issues, ensuring clarity and alignment
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Deliver data-driven, future-ready workforce plans that adapt to operational needs through Regional Collections Managers.
- Ensure rosters are on time, cost-effective, and aligned with business requirements.
- Continuously review and enhance rostering systems and workforce processes.
- Guarantee all workforce activities meet compliance, industrial relations, and regulatory standards.
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader who can balance workforce design with operational execution.
You will bring:

- Extensive workforce management experience (ideally 15+ years) across multi-site, high-volume industries such as retail, FMCG, hospitality, or healthcare.
- Proven success in implementing labour models, payroll budgeting, staff scheduling, and productivity optimisation across national networks.
- Strong knowledge of industrial relations, EBAs, and workforce compliance frameworks.
- Track record in leading centralised rostering and workforce support teams, including industrial engineers and productivity specialists.
- Ability to challenge the status quo constructively, forging strong business relationships and delivering measurable cost and efficiency savings.
- A passion for leading and coaching others to lift capability and deliver sustainable results.
- A solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver practical outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing customer-focused workforce initiatives that improve service delivery, efficiency, and employee engagement.
