It’s an eciting time to ecel your career with ING, and we’re on the lookout for a passionate Treasury Operations Officer to join our Transaction Processing and Controls Team on a permanent basis in our Sydney office.
As a Treasury Operations Officer, you’ll deliver innovative financial lending products, which are at the forefront of digital banking in Australia, and bring eperience and eposure across Treasury products knowledge, including money market, fied income and derivatives.
You’ll work across settlement and payment activities; initiating payments and monitoring workflow, delivering ongoing reporting on a regular basis and will regularly liaise with a variety of stakeholders internally and eternal corporations and institutions.

What you’ll do
Action all Money Market, Fi- ed Income and Derivative transactions via SFE Austraclear and Rits.
- Coordinate retail and commercial SWIFT payments to meet settlement service requirements.
- Detect any deal discrepancies and maintain an organised operational department, whereby documentation can be readily accessed.
- Assist in analysing and implementing new products and product modifications.
- Seek ongoing continuous Improvements and assist in managing new initiatives, Risk Management Culture.
What we’re looking for
Previous eperience as a Treasury Operations Officer or similar with e- posure to different market products within the banking industry.
- A strong understanding of Treasury products, processes and procedures (including securities, bonds and derivatives, NCD’s and securitisation). E
- cellent knowledge of payment & confirmation systems such as Austraclear, RITS, SWIFT & Markitwire.
- An analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage time, resources and responsibilities to meet deadlines.
