Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class, record-breaking event? We are hiring for a Accommodation Officer to join our Tournament Services team to deliver the Australian Open 2026. This is a full-time fixed-term contract from October 2025 to February 2026.

About the role
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Processing booking requests, confirming bookings across multiple stakeholder groups (Players, Media, Umpires, Official Tournament Guests) and others as required
- Preparing comprehensive reports such as rooming lists, release back reports and detailed post tournament reports
- Liaising with nominated tournament hotel suppliers to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of services
- Assisting with the maintenance of the EventsAir booking system to ensure accuracy and efficiencies as required
- Providing general administrative assistance to the Tournament Services Lead and wider team as required
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders regarding status of booking requests and arrangements
- Reconciling accommodation related charges and invoices post event as required
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Experience in hotel reservation and front office operations or professional conference (highly desirable)
- Experience in organising accommodation for major events (highly desirable)
- An understanding or interest in Tennis (desirable)
- Advanced computer and database skills in accommodation booking systems, specifically EventsAir booking system is highly desirable, Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel
- Exceptional administration and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Strong time management skills and ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of people and cultures
- Ability to speak multiple languages other than English (desirable)
- Work in a team environment and have a collaborative approach
- Preparedness to be flexible in regards to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
