Step into the pivotal role within our administration team, where your dedication to administration, supports various departments within Bowral & District Hospital. We are seeking a proactive and customer service based individual to join our administration team.

The position could have you working in the Emergency Department one day, to working within our inpatient wards the next, where two days are never the same.

As a key point of contact, you'll deliver exceptional customer service, both in person and via telephone, assisting patients and their families with compassion and efficiency.

What You'll be Doing
To provide high level administrative support to various departments within Bowral & District Hospital.


Where You'll Be Working
Bowral & District Hospital is in the Wingecarribee Shire with a new state of the art Clinical Service Building being opened in 2020 and a new Outpatient Centre opening in 2025. Bowral & District Hospital is part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District with strong and established networks to tertiary facilities of Campbelltown and Liverpool.

The Southern Highlands of NSW is made up of 34 towns and villages, providing both a rural yet cosmopolitan lifestyle of cafes, restaurants and wineries, offering a diverse range of industry, sports, arts and culture, affordable housing, excellent schools, all less than 1.5 hours travel to Sydney, Canberra and the coast.

  • Previous administration experience preferably in a health care setting with the ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and evenings.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to work unsupervised and within a team
  • High level keyboard skills and demonstrated experience with computer systems including information database and Microsoft Office Suite.
