Marketing Assistant – Flamingos Live
Location: Lambton, NSW
Employment Type: Casual or Part-time (approx. 20–25 hrs/week, with potential to grow)
Flamingos Live is Newcastle’s iconic theatre restaurant, presenting live music, comedy, and unforgettable dining experiences. We’re looking for a tech-savvy, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to help bring our shows to life — from the first announcement to the final curtain call.
What You’ll Do
- Build and update event web pages for upcoming shows (WordPress)
- Set up and manage ticketing pages (Humanitix)
- Assist in creating and scheduling ads across Meta, Google, and other platforms
- Coordinate marketing assets — images, videos, artist bios — for consistent brand presentation
- Support email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp) and help grow our subscriber base
- Keep event listings up to date across third-party sites
- Provide general admin support to the marketing team, ensuring campaigns run smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in digital marketing, social media, or event promotion
- Confident with web content updates and basic HTML (WordPress experience preferred)
- Comfortable using Canva or similar design tools
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks at once
- Interest in live music, theatre, or hospitality is a bonus and to be flexible with
