People & Culture Coordinator - Hybrid Role
Location: Bondi Junction (3 days in office, 2 days from home)
At The Travel Corporation (TTC), we’ve been creating enriching travel experiences for over 100 years across 40 award-winning brands in 70 countries. Our values of Passion, People, and Purpose guide everything we do, from delivering exceptional journeys for our guests to building a workplace where our people can thrive.
We’re now looking for a People & Culture Coordinator who’s ready to be the friendly face, trusted partner, and behind-the-scenes organiser that keeps our people initiatives running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this hands-on, fast-paced, and varied role, you’ll:
- Coordinate the entire recruitment process – post job ads, manage interview scheduling, arrange reference checks and right-to-work verification, and prepare employment documents.
- Support hiring managers and our Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract and secure great talent.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience – from welcome packs and systems set-up to first-day activities.
- Keep our HRIS (once implemented) and spreadsheets accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare regular people reports so leaders can make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Play an active role in our Social Committee – coordinate team events, celebrations, and recognition activities.
- Manage our employee engagement and reward programs, including internal nominations, surveys, and recognition initiatives.
- Draft engaging articles and updates for our monthly staff newsletter, Tango Tango Charlie.
- Respond to day-to-day HR enquiries with friendly, practical, and values-led support.
- Provide administrative support for employment relations matters – schedule meetings, prepare documents, and take accurate notes during disciplinary, grievance, or investigation processes.
- Spot opportunities to streamline and improve our HR processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Support People & Culture projects that contribute to a high-performing, connected workplace.
About You
You’re someone who:
- Has experience in an HR / People & Culture administration or coordination role.
- Juggles multiple priorities without losing accuracy or attention to detail.
- Communicates with warmth and professionalism, whether face-to-face, in writing, or over the phone.
- Can handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Knows their way around Microsoft Office and ideally has HRIS experience.
- Brings a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
