Are you passionate about fairness, compliance, and making a real difference for Queensland workers and businesses? We're building a talent pool of experienced professionals to fill upcoming temporary Principal Inspector positions within the Labour Hire Licensing Compliance Unit (LHLCU).
As a Principal Inspector, you'll play a critical role in upholding labour hire laws, protecting vulnerable workers, and ensuring businesses meet their obligations under the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017.
What You'll Do
Conduct compliance activities such as risk assessments, audits, and investigations.
Prepare high-quality reports, case files, and administrative decisions.
Provide expert advice and educate stakeholders about their rights and obligations.
Lead, train, and mentor other compliance officers within the LHLCU.
Use your expertise to interpret legislation and identify compliance risks.
What We're Looking For
Strong legislative interpretation and compliance experience.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Leadership and mentoring experience.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Mandatory requirements:
A valid driver's licence.
Flexibility to travel across Queensland (including overnight stays when required).
